Neck and back pain can be a nightmare. For most people it goes away in a few days. Unfortunately for some, spine problems do not go away quickly. The Spine Center of Hampton Roads, part of Virginia Orthopaedics and Spine Specialists, can help.

Whether you have become injured on the job or in an accident, or are feeling the pains of advanced age, there is no need to carry the burden of a bad back. The amazing team of physicians at VOSS are here to offer you the utmost in musculoskeletal and spinal care.

When you come to VOSS for your spinal treatments, our physicians will discuss your care based upon your needs, because back pain is a personal matter that requires individual assessment. Surgery may be an option, but it isn’t for everybody, and at VOSS we are committed to exploring many possibilities that do not involve surgery:

  • Physical therapy – surgery-free options to reduce back pain
  • Spinal fusion – helps immobilize damaged vertebrae and reduce pain
  • Laminectomy – this type of surgery helps alleviate pain associated with the lower back and legs
  • Discectomy – removal of a herniated disc

If you have experienced multiple surgeries and/or long periods of pain and disability from neck and back pain, we offer evaluation and treatment geared to provide you with an optimal, pain-free lifestyle.
