Jon Brillhart, MPAS, PA-C, a native Virginian, is a certified physician, assistant as well as a major (O4) in the Virginia Army National Guard and has spent many deployments in Iraq and Kuwait. He served as flight surgeon for the last aviation battalion stationed at Tallil Air Base, Iraq, and was instrumental in assisting the final withdrawal of U.S. forces from the area of operations. He has extensive experience in private practice, including general orthopaedics, total joint replacements, surgical- and neurosurgicalorthopaedics assistance, occupational medicine and urgent care.
Mr. Brillhart holds a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the University of Nebraska in Omaha, Neb., and bachelor of science degrees from Roanoke College in Salem, Va., and the Jefferson College of Health Sciences’ physician assistant program in Roanoke, Va. Mr. Brillhart is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
